What happens if we combine and shake (and mix) together a classic from the past (007 GoldenEye for N64) and a contemporary FPS standard bearer like Far Cry? Today we have the answer: a YouTuber known as Krollywood he meticulously recreated the 1997 first person shooter within Far Cry 5, penultimate episode of the famous series (2018).
According to Krollywood the process took around 1.400 hours over nearly three years, and appears to include each level of GoldenEye 007, except the two bonus phases.
Although level editors exist in many games, Krollywood prefers that of Far Cry 5 due to its ease of use and the large number of objects available. Furthermore, the mod includes material from games such as Assassin's Creed and Watch Dogs, a choice that the creator motivates with the decision to create some variety within the levels.
