Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance is back, a D&D hack & slash

Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance is back, a D&D hack & slash

W e Interplay have just announced the return of Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, an old RPG hack & slash which came out on consoles in 2001, in the era of the PS2 and Xbox. The game is about to be released tomorrow 7st May su PS4, Xbox One e Nintendo Switch!

This is not a remaster or a remake, but a new release of the same game from 2001, without 4K support, without FPS boost (although we imagine that the new hardware makes everything go very smoothly) and without backward compatibility of next-gen consoles. Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance also retains his two-player co-op mode, while the PC and mobile versions of the game will be released later in 2021.

Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance was originally released in December of the 2001 per PS2 e Xbox, and also landed on the Nintendo GameCube later. The original developers of Dark Alliance, Snowblind, they also made a sequel and an EverQuest spin-off called Champions of Norrath.

We do not know whether to this surprise release may follow some new announcements related to Baldur's Gate, the iconic city of the Sword Coast, and in general to the world of Dungeons & Dragons in gaming terms. We remind you that in the meantime Baldur's Gate 3 di Larian Studios is still active in Early Access, and has now reached his patch 4; presumably Larian is preparing the next update in the period ofE3 2021. Also there would be too Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance out at the end of June.
