That Netflix has decided to invest resources in the television transposition of various successful videogame is now a certainty (let's just think of Castlevania and just announced Dragon's Dogma series) and now we have another confirmation. Last night Netflix's official Twitter account announced a film transposition of Beyond Good & Evil, Ubisoft's dynamic adventure released in 2003.
As far as we know the film will be directed by the director Rob Letterman, known for Detective Pikachu, and will see Ubisoft directly involved as a producer and as part of the creative team.
Set on the planet Hillys, Beyond Good & Evil tells the story of Jade, a reporter who sets out in search of the truth about the DomZ, alien race that has been attacking the peaceful planet for years.
But Jade's search will lead her to uncover things until recently unimaginable.
