How many weapons will there be in Borderlands 3?

Borderlands 3: everything we know

Gearbox Software announced that Borderlands 3 it will still contain the weapons bazilioni we have been accustomed to from previous chapters of the saga.

Among the types of weapons that Gearbox Software has declared we find:

  • Weapons that fire projectiles capable of generating a shield
  • Assault rifles capable of generating small volcanoes
  • Guns that grow their legs and independently hunt opponents, insulting them at the same time.

How will Borderlands 3 multiplayer be organized?

At the moment information regarding the multiplayer of Borderlands 3 they are few and fragmented.

As it stated by Gearbox Software the title will be predominantly cooperative, with a system capable of balance the challenge in case of large power level imbalances between players. The goal of the software house is to make the title enjoyable for all groups of players.

According to a spokesperson for 2K to the microphones of Gamespot, at the moment there are no certainties regarding the presence of crossplay within the title. Gearbox at the moment he is working with body and soul to ensure that this happens given the importance that this feature could have in a more fragmented market than usual, given the exclusive temporal encounter that the title is going to.

The previous chapters of the Gearbox saga were characterized by a feature that in the course of the evolution of the genre has been modified and updated: the instantiation of the loot.
What are we talking about? In the first two chapters of Borderlands the loot was generated individually for the entire team of players.

This choice has been reevaluated over the years and, nowadays, all games that include randomly generated loot upon the death of a mob or the opening of a chest tend to generate the appropriate rewards player by player.

According to retail ads, discovered around by Gamesradar, this loot generation methodology will also be included in Borderlands 3.

“Play with anyone you want at any time in online or split-screen co-op mode, don't worry about your level or don't worry about your mission progress. Take down enemies as a team and collect rewards that will be yours alone - no one will lose the loot "

So reads the tagline of the game, practically confirming the instantiation of the loot player by player, without counting in any way the progress of whoever is hosting the game at that moment.

Bad reviews on steam for Borderlands 3's exclusive Epic Games Store flock

History sadly repeated itself: exactly as it happened for Metro Exodus even the Borderlands titles present on the Steam platform have been victims of the very sad phenomenon of review bombing. By review bombing we mean a series of incredibly negative reviews that try to ditch the evaluation of one or more titles within the platform of Gabe Newell following some event linked to a particular brand.

It happened for Titan Souls, for The Elder Scrolls V, for Grand Theft Auto V, for NieR AutomatA and it will probably happen again and again; here you will find one history.

Over the course of a couple of days the title of Gearbox Software it has achieved over four hundred negative reviews, all of them characterized by sustained discontent. All these negative reviews were then dealt with by the special team that Valve created to counter the phenomenon and made useless for evaluation purposes; this is because the American company has repeatedly declared in the course of its history that it is well aware of the problem and that it also intends to solve it as far as possible.

The creator of Borderlands, Randy Pitchford, replied to a user who displayed looter shooter rating charts with a vitriolic tweet:

"Ironically, the improper use of user reviews on Steam and Valve's slowness to correct this problem is one of the reasons why I am happy that 2K has chosen the Epic Games Store (NDR: Platform on which this feature is absent) for the publication of our title. This misbehavior on the part of users makes me reconsider Gearbox Publishing's current position on Steam "

Currently Pitchford has not yet released any statements regarding Steam's intervention following the purge of negative reviews. A few days ago the Gearbox boss had come out with a very funny tweet in which he announced that he was ready to put the title on Steam with immediate value if and only if Valve had announced the arrival of the third most anticipated chapter in the history of video games: Half Life 3.

Crazy Earl talking: It’s not my call, but if Gaben legit announces Half-Life 3, I will use all the leverage and influence I can to get our game on Valve’s store as soon as reasonably possible. No promises, but I would go as bananas for HL3 as you all are going for Borderlands 3.
