    Techland, team of Dying Light 2 will release an update on the development of the game the 17 March, more than a year after the first production delay. Rumors of problems of project management and even the proximity of cancellation, but a few days ago the production denied it through a tweet.

    In the past few hours, speaking on the game's Discord channel, the community manager Uncy has provided some more information on what to expect from the update: firstly, he stated that there will be no announcement of the release date, but specified that the object of the communication will be more than just "development is going well".



    “You, as a community, will have a better understanding of what's going on and we hope it will make the wait a little easier ”he said.

    Since there is no announcement for a release date, there will also be no late announcements: undoubtedly, a good “crafty” strategy to keep the situation calm.

    As for the reaction to the news of the event, there are already those who talk about the "Cyberpunk effect", that is to want to follow the development process more carefully in order to avoid missteps in the release of the game, but the situation of Dying Light 2 has been going on for so long that the latest developments could simply be linked to previous production problems.



    At the moment, Dying Light 2 is considered a cross-gen title with a major release for old consoles (Xbox One, PS4) and PC, but among the surprises that we can expect at this point there is also, of course, a transformation into a project intended for PS5 and Xbox X | S, as happened to other problematic titles.
