The genre battle royale is experiencing a golden age. More and more software houses are deciding to throw themselves into this videogame genre, both starting from scratch and implementing a battle royale mode within their titles. On social media, it is not uncommon to come across memes and hilarious images that make fun of the fact that, by now, anything could become a battle royale, even Life is Strange or a TV series.
Among the most famous exponents of this type of video game, there is H1Z1 who is not being intimidated by the numbers of Fortnite e PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds. The development studio has made it known, through a statement, that H1Z1 has reached 1.5 million players on Playstation 4.
24 hours of fire for H1Z1
Daybreak Games announced that, yesterday, H1Z1, the company's revolutionary battle royale game, has been played for over 1,5 million fans in the 24-hour launch period on PlayStation 4. Now available as a free download on the PlayStation Store, the shooter is currently in Open Beta with a full version scheduled for later this year.

Redesigned for the PS4, the all-new H1Z1 features a larger arsenal of weapons, a completely reworked user interface and a faster gameplay. Frequent and increasingly lucrative airdrops for more powerful weapons and armor keep the action always fast-paced and alive. A updated control system allows players to quickly interact with the environment via the radial menu, while a grab-and-go gear system makes collecting loot easier.
