Relentless rain

In Heavy Rain, you will take on the role of Ethan mars, unfortunate father who after losing one son in an accident will also lose the other due to a kidnapping. The figure behind the crime is known as the "origami killer", a name that derives precisely from origami left on the kidnapping scenes. In addition to Ethan, the game will put you in the shoes of 4 other characters: Norman jayden, FBI agent, Madison page, journalist and Scott shelby, private investigator working on the case.

The distinctive feature of Heavy Rain, which has remained unchanged from the past, is the strong cinematographic imprinting with the massive presence of Quick Time Event which will determine the unfolding of the story and its conclusion. In addition to the 20 endings that guarantee the player an adventure that is always new and full of choices to make, the beauty of the title also lies in the impossibility of "losing". In fact, there is no real game over, but rather alternative ways capable of depriving the player of characters and scenes to play.

Heavy Rain – Recensione PS4

If from a content point of view Heavy Rain it is no different from what we saw six years ago, the technical sector deserves a separate discussion. The first obvious change concerns the resolution of the game which, thanks to the remaster, reaches i 1080p of the next generation consoles. The frame rate, on the other hand, remained blocked at 30fps, precisely to continue to reward the cinematic cut desired by Cage. Unfortunately, the remaster did not clear up some problems present in the original game, with bugs that recur punctual after six years. The animations and the lighting system have been implemented making the experience even more beautiful to see. Also of note is the audio enhancement, with a soundtrack worthy of a colossal and a dubbing enriched by the presence of Pino I teach.
