As announced some time ago, IO Interactive is developing Hitman 3, the new chapter of the reboot dedicated to Agent 47, whose release is scheduled for January 2021.
The developers have shared all the different modes that will be available in this third installment, adding the fact that it will also be the concluding chapter of the trilogy called world of assassination.
Hitman 3 will be set in the beautiful Dubai and will feature a much more advanced enemy AI than its predecessors; the new story will offer a campaign mode, in perfect style sandbox, connected with the other chapters to ensure concrete narrative continuity. Furthermore, the Elusive Target mode, in which it will be possible to eliminate our enemy without the support of the HUD and without any suggestions, pushing gamers to develop a strategy "in the field" and perfect their problem solving skills.
La Escalation mode which will allow gamers to raise the "bar" level of the challenge a little more, modifying the difficulty, applying some game restrictions regarding transvestments, cameras and so on.
La Contracts mode allows gamers to choose targets and target elimination rules at their discretion. It is possible to share these custom rules with other players and challenge them online to see who can finish higher in the rankings.
La Sniper Assassin mode, as the name suggests, is the "Sniper" mode: eliminate targets and guards without being noticed and without triggering the alarm in order to get high scores and it will be a mode available only in single player.
With the launch of Hitman 3, the cooperative servers of Hitman 2 will come closed. The Ghost mode present in the second chapter will not be reintroduced and the servers for the one-on-one multiplayer will be closed on August 31 2020.
As announced in the latest State of Play, Hitman 3 will be fully playable in mode VR and it will be esclusiva Playstation VR upon its release in stores.
Hitman 3 will use January 2021 for PC, Xbox Series X, PS5 and on current generation consoles Xbox One and PS4.
