Hogwarts Legacy: Harry Potter themed title postponed

Hogwarts Legacy: Harry Potter themed title postponed

With a Tweet Portkey Games announced a sad postponement: that of Hogwarts Legacy.

The Harry Potter-themed open world RPG title, originally scheduled for 2021 and announced during the Playstation 5 event in September 2020, has been postponed for easily understandable reasons to 2022.

Hogwarts, we will see you in 2022!

The tweet severed the following words:

We would like to thank all the fans around the world from Portkey Games for the wonderful reactions that Hogwarts Legacy, our new game, has received. Creating the best experience possible for all fans of the wizarding world and video games is a time-consuming process, which is why we need to give more time to the development of our title.

For these and other reasons Hogwarts Legacy will be released in 2022.

What to say? Let's dry our tears and hope that this postponement will allow the developers to do a good job, avoiding seeing another disaster beyond Cyberpunk 2077…
