Although Chainsaw Man is "more or less" (quotes due) finished last year, the manga is still quite popular with fans while not catching up. Without going to draw out uncomfortable comparisons with One Piece or Demon Slayer (the first of Eiichiro Oda, the second of Koyoharu Gotouge), Chainsaw Man presented himself to readers as a very violent and funny shonen, full of strange characters and protagonists without fascinating doubts.
At the center of the story we find the characters of Denji and Makima. If the second is the one who can turn into the chainsaw demon, the first is a character of incredible charm that belongs to the demon hunters. Makima's character is cold, icy, icy, elegant and always self-confident: a mix of characteristics that have turned her into a real success with the public.

Tatsuki Fujimoto's manga will resume over the next few months on classic Shonen Jump instead of Weekly Shonen Jump. What was defined by the author as the end of the series was actually simply the ending of the first story arc, officially called the Public Safery Arc. The author wrote much of the second part script which will focus on how Denji copes with daily life as the Chainsaw Man.
No more Makima plausibly but all is not lost: the MAPPA studio, already behind titles like Jujutsu Kaisen or the fourth season of Attack On Titan, has announced that it has started work on the animated adaptation of the title. Makima will then be animated and also dubbed, allowing us to relate again with the splendid character of the mangaka.
