Good news for racing fans who want to whiz along with friends who own a different console. The latest Need for Speed: Heat update (our review here) makes the game support the cross-play.
The new update of Need for Speed Heat has just been released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, with the biggest addition being cross-play, which makes NfS: Heat the first EA game absolutely to support functionality.
From now on, players will be able to roam the streets of Palm City alongside friends who own other platforms. To facilitate this, theEA Friends, an account independent of those already created that appears on all platforms. With this it will be possible to invite friends to take part in a game.
The update also brings a number of various fixes as well will be the last of the game. Need for Speed Heat will also arrive on EA Access e Origin Access Basic starting from 16nd June.
We also remind you that Criterion (developer of the series Burnout) recently took over the franchise and is already working on the next Need for Speed.
