The new lens is the first of the NIKKOR range to integrate a teleconverter with a 1,4x ratio. The real novelty lies in a sturdy lever located in a comfortable position that with a simple gesture will increase the range of the focal length from 180-400 mm (f4) to an equivalent 252-560 mm (F5.6). All without having to worry about finding strange combinations and without losing focus on the viewfinder and the shot.
