From the very first moments, Amazon's steps into the world of video games with his own Amazon Game Studios have been strangely iffy, and now that N (the company's debut game) seemed ready to launch as the Coronavirus is likely to create new problems.
The launch of the game (an online mmo with a fantastic historical setting), at first scheduled for May, it was in fact postponed to August, as smart-working would not allow the team to work carefully on the final touches.
"The health and safety of our team is our priority. " says the note released on the company's website. "We hope you understand our decision to protect our team during these uncertain times as we focus on a timeline that makes New World the best possible game."
The new release date indicated by Amazon for New World it's August 25th, While the Closed Beta will be open until July.
