Sony has officially unveiled what multimedia applications will be available at the launch of PS5. When we talk about multimedia applications we refer to the notes Netflix, Spotify, Twitch, Youtube and also Apple TV, almost all already available on PS4. Let's see specifically what it is.
Apple TV is the only multimedia app to debut simultaneously on both Sony consoles, the Cupertino ecosystem includes a subscription to the streaming service of Apple TV +.
Netflix certainly does not need further presentations, the well-known platform is a must on PS5 and, to follow also the newly born Disney + on which the awaited second season of Star Wars: The Mandalorian.
Youtube e Twitch will be present with their streaming and video sharing system. Finally, the largest music streaming service Spotify, will debut on PS5 and it will be possible to listen to the songs in the background on your console while playing video games or browsing the store.
More applications will come with subsequent updates including Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, Peacock and MyCanal. There will be other specific apps for Italy, such as our Timvision, Mediaset Infinity or Chili which will be announced shortly.
