Good news for all fans of Telltale, the historic development team of games such as Wolf Among Us and Sam & Max: the very first story arc of the latter series, Sam & Max Save The World, arrives on Switch with a remastered curated by Skunkape Games, a team formed by ex-Telltale.
With a first edition released between 2006 and 2007 under the title of “Sam & Max Season One”, this series had been one of the first experiments of "episodic" distribution that Telltale would have become one of its trademarks. At the close of Telltale in 2018 Skunkape has therefore acquired the rights of Sam & Max and made a new version of it with overhauled graphics, gamepad support, restored audio and more.
For the few who don't know, Sam e Max they are two characters born from the pen of the humorous artist Steve Purcell, a weird one pair of anthropomorphic animals (Sam Dog and Max Rabbit) engaged in a story of organized crime, wacky puzzles and crazy characters which some have defined as a real one "Video game sitcom".
Sam & Max Save The World Remastered is ready for Switch launch on December 2nd, with pre-orders already active on the official Nintendo website.
