BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Inc. today announced the release of Tales of the Rays, a free-to-play RPG that will allow players to experience Tales' intense 3D gameplay on mobile platforms. Tales of Rays it will be downloadable for free from the App Store and Google Play starting this summer.

In Tales of the Rays, players will have to travel through different landscapes alongside the heroes Ix and Mileena, exploring treasure-filled dungeons and challenging terrible enemies in an epic attempt to restore their world. Heroes from previous Tales episodes will also appear in the game to guide Ix and Mileena on their adventure. Tales of the Rays offers graphics and gameplay at the level of the best console productions, as well as the new Linear Motion combat system with simple and intuitive controls optimized for mobile devices. Fans will be able to enjoy the stories told through spectacular cutscenes accompanied by the classic soundtrack, as well as limited-time events where special bonuses will be awarded.
