The Battle.net launcher is finally out of beta

In an interview a PC Gamer, Ion Hazzikostas (Game Director of World of Warcraft) also announced the arrival of the update for the Activision Blizzard game launcher.

A two-year long beta

From November 2019 many users have gotten used to the new graphic interface of the Battle.net launcher, but finally we will be able to say goodbye to the wording Beta that has been covering the upper left corner of the interface for two years. The update is for now only available in the United States but the European release will not be long in coming.

In an interview with PC Gamer, Ion Hazzikostas also announced the arrival of the update for the Activision Blizzard game launcher.

Here are the latest changes:

  • Improved navigation and interface: You can now bookmark your games and organize them to your liking for easier access.
  • A more extensive interface for news and game content in full page view.
  • A redesigned social features panel to better display your friends and what they're doing on each game's tab.
  • Great accessibility improvements - We've added the ability to navigate within the application via keyboard, increased support for screen readers and improved color contrasts.
  • A new and consolidated notification center for messages and downloads.
