Great news for fans of the golden age of graphic adventures: Double Fine Productions, author of remastered di Grim Fandango, Day of the Tentacle e Full Throttle, announced the arrival of the three titles on Xbox Game Pass.
The arrival date is next October 29th, just in time to enjoy the next weekend (the Halloween one, just to stay on the Grim Fandango theme) with a nice dip in the past.
The news was given by the same Tim Schafer during an episode of the Xbox Podcast entitled “Remembering the Classics", And we really talk about classics: in case you don't know them or are unfamiliar with the genre, know that all three games in question are part of the treasures of the unforgettable LucasArts (along with the Monkey Island series of course).
Day of the Tentacle (1993) will take us to the center of the story of a trio of friends struggling with a bizarre alien invasion curated by Ron Gilbert, Full Throttle in a motorcycle epic directed by Tim Schafer.
Finally, Grim Fandango it will drag us into a bizarre version of the World of the Dead of the Mexican tradition by controlling manny skull, bizarre travel agent with the task of organizing the transit of the deceased.
Well, now that you know the stakes, all you have to do is make room in your diary and play with these three classics.
