Bloober announces a new chapter of Layers of Fear in Unreal Engine 5

The name of Bloober Team is now on everyone's lips thanks to successful productions that have also been able to bring news to the gaming world. The Medium, for example, the latest game developed by the Polish team, has been talked about for Dual Reality, that is the possibility of simultaneously exploring two different worlds, which is impossible on the old consoles (the title was previously released exclusively on Xbox. Series X / S and then also arrive on PS5).

Bloober was also at the center of an important event, namely its acquisition by Konami, which immediately made the fans of Silent Hill jump on their feet.

Now synonymous with a highly disorienting horror game, Bloober began making itself known to the general public in 2016 with Layers of Fear, a title in which the player impersonated a cursed painter, looking for inspiration for his masterpiece. In 2019, the sequel was released that instead explored the intricacies of an actor's mind.

The works of Bloober Team, in fact, have always been closely linked to the world of art, plumbed in its darkest and most terrifying depths. Well, with a truly disturbing trailer, Bloober announces that the series is about to return: 'Your Fear Will Return'.

The title will be available in 2022 for the next generation consoles and will be able to use theU, the most updated version of the graphics engine that should redefine the visual standards in video games.

According to the movie, the third chapter should be a direct follow-up to the first Layers of Fear, which is evident from the presence of a painter and everything the artist needs to create art. The CEO Piotr Babiebo stated that Layers of Fear was a "revolutionary" game for the studio and that it helped the team grow and expand.

Bloober is in turmoil because in addition to the new Layers of Fear it is working on two other projects, both defined as AAA. The former is in full development, while the latter is in pre-production. Babieno himself, in February of this year, let it slip that the studio was working on a famous horror IP.
